Datuk Zainal Amanshah

Datuk Zainal Amanshah is the Executive Director of Time dotCom and former Vice President for Key Accounts Management at AECOM, a multinational engineering firm.
With more than 22 years of experience in the private sector and 4 years in Government, Datuk Zainal has held senior positions in multinationals, Malaysian companies and start-ups. Most recently Datuk Zainal was the CEO of InvestKL, a position he held for 8 years. During his time, the agency successfully attracted more than 80 large multinational corporations to set up regional hubs in Greater Kuala Lumpur and brought in a total of more than RM12 billion of committed and approved investments, which led to the creation of 12,000 regional jobs.
Prior to InvestKL, Datuk Zainal was the Group CEO and co-founder of REDtone, a Malaysian public listed telecommunications provider and brought it to IPO in 2004. Datuk Zainal graduated with Bachelor of Science (Electronic Engineering) from the University of Kent, United Kingdom in 1989.
Datuk Zainal has attended several Executive Programs, namely the Harvard Premier Business Management Program Malaysia in 2007 and the Wharton School of Finance Program in Malaysia. He is a member of Vistage Malaysia, a premier CEO development organization, the KLBC (Kuala Lumpur Business Club) and ASLI (Asia Strategic Leadership Institute).
