Erman Akinci
Common Ground
Erman is the other half of the co-founding duo and Chief Financial Officer of Common Ground.
During his time at Catcha, Erman was often exposed to businesses that chose to mitigate ‘innovation risk’ and focus on operational and executional excellence. Common Ground was born out of this pillar - having learned about how the co-working model was doing in other markets, he decided to partner with Juhn to launch what is Southeast Asia's fastest growing co-working group today. Drawing on his experience working with startups, Erman assumes the role of CFO at Common Ground and is responsible for the performance of the group, its regional growth and financing requirements.
Previously, Erman was the Director of Business Development at Catcha Group, where he was responsible for the growth in Catcha’s businesses including iFlix, iProperty, REV Asia and iCarAsia. He was also involved in Ensogo, the social e-commerce site and was the Founder & CEO of Dealmates.com, an online flash sales website.
Erman holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Penn State University and graduated from the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA program. In April 2019, Erman and Juhn were selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs at the 87th Endeavor International Selection Panel in Madrid, Spain.
